When using a secure gateway with the option "Use gateway: if needed", a timeout of 5 seconds is applied before the connection is routed over the secure gateway.
Because we are all impatient, the 5 seconds are annoying, when you start new connections dozens of times a day. :D
Please make this time configurable, so that it can be fine tuned to whatever a user needs it to be.
