Yes, the listing in the MS Store is legit:

Note that you can't purchase a license through the MS Store though. All it does is downloading the app (free/shareware version) and a license has to be purchased through our web site if needed.
We try to push updates to winget and the MS Store as soon as we release a new version but sometimes there can be some delay until it is listed.

I just found RoyalTS listed on the Microsoft Store:
1. Is it legit? - It doesn't show as an option on the RoyalTS download page so I'm playing it safe and asking
2. If it is legit, you can mark this idea as implemented - yay!

It would be great if RoyalTS was published to the Windows Store. This would make distributing the latest version via MDM solutions very easy.

I would love it to be able to install the application (and receive updates) from the Windows Store. It doesn't need to be an UWP app. It can be done using the Desktop App Converter. I've tried it myself ans it works really nice.
